So here I am in Hampton University, waiting for the second Basketball game of the evening to finish. I successfully infiltrated their wireless internet, so I'm under the bleachers typing away.

I'm a daddy. I'm not "going to be a daddy in nine months". I AM A DADDY RIGHT NOW. The baby is alive. Life. It starts at conception.... I just can't hold baby for nine months or so.

Heather and I aren't calling the baby an "it". We have named it simply "Baby". That will do until we actually get to hold our precious child.

I can't believe how everything has come together over the past two years of my life. I was thinking back to Ukraine today. I was remembering all the conversations I had with people during that trip. Mostly with Mary and Natanya, about how I couldn't wait to be a father, how I couldn't believe that any father would willingly give their child up. How can that kind of selfishness be inside a person? I couldn't understand it. And as you look at a child, ANY child, you see that longing in their eyes. Yearning for love. I love. I love kids. I love Baby.

It's been a long day today, I got here in Hampton at 3pm and it's about 11pm right now. I probably won't get out of here until around 1am. Overtime pays well though. :)

I'm realizing that this is my first post in a long time. I think the whole "courting-then-being-engaged-then-getting-married-and-moving-into-a-house-and-then-going-on-a-honeymoon-and-going-back-to-work-and-then-having-a-wife-that's-pregnant-and-still-working-and-doing-a-lot-of-other-stuff-too" has had something to do with it.

I wish these players would just play the game and quit fouling eachother.
