home, sweet home
...and a tiny bit homesick.We are here. Here is Fort Mill. We is Feather, Vi and Chunk.
The Cause has given me a job, and office, a place to stay, and food to eat. God has given all of that to The Cause. Thank you God.
The task ahead of me is daunting. I was brought onboard here to put together a promo video for the massive gathering in Nashville on 07.07.07 called TheCall. I don't even know where to start, there is so much footage, but not exactly what we need, there are a million sound-bites, but no time to go through them all, and we have a deadline that is creeping up on us. So I look at all that and I think, "Hey, this is what God was training me for all those years at KPC."
Heather and I are so happy to be here, it really is just where we're supposed to be. But we hate leaving family. I cried for a good half-hour of the drive. I've never moved out of any state before, and I've never had to take a grandchild away from his grandparents. It's hard, and I can't imagine what my parents had to go through to move from California out to Virginia with a little girl. At least we're only 6 hours away and we have a car we love to drive. :)
We are meeting some really great people down here, and it's really cool to see how God has pulled all these different people together for one purpose.
More later, just wanted to get that out there to all four of you.
